Family Event: 2009 Christmas Fayre
FRIDAY 4TH DECEMBER 2009, 2.30PM—5.30PM
This year we have over 25 stalls offering fabulous jewellery and bags; children’s clothes and toys; hand-knitted alpaca, gorgeous handmade soap and beautiful, original ceramics; With delicious hand made chocolate; Christmas cards and
wrapping paper, you can do all you shopping here!
And whilst you do your gift shopping, and stock up on delicious goodies, the children can have fun at their very own festive fayre, complete with Santa’s Grotto.
There will also be a number of PSFA stalls, raising money towards a range of extra activities and equipment for all the pupils.
There’s the always busy Stall of Games and Music: if you have any games (board, computer, PSP etc) or CDs /DVDs you no longer use please pass them on to us, and we will turn them into cash.
Another popular stall is the Body Stall—toiletries for ladies and gentlemen. If you have any unused, perfect, toiletries—soaps, perfume, bubble bath, or body lotions - taking up space on your bathroom shelves or dressing table, please pass them onto us, and we will transform them from clutter, into beautifully wrapped and presented gifts. Please let us have contributions for this stall by November 13th.
We will also be holding an ‘Estimate the Weight of the Hamper’ competition, in which entrants can win a beautiful hamper filled to the brim with a range of wonderful Christmas food. In order to do this we need donations of food (non-perishable) and drink: puddings, chocolates, cake, jams, chutneys, wine and so on. Donations can be handed in until the 1st December.
Contributions for all these stalls can be left in the boxes that you will find in the
Senior School Office, and in the entrance to the Junior School.
Finally, if you can help with the Fayre in any way - either in the time running up to it or on the day itself, please contact Jenny Banbury at christmas@sibfordpsfa.co.uk No offer of help is too small, and is always appreciated.
Thanks for your help.
