What does PSFA do?
PSFA is the association of the Parents, School & Friends of Sibford School. We are run by volunteers drawn from the ranks of parents, teachers, school management and members of the local community.
Earlier in 2008 we undertook a review of what PSFA was here to achieve and have developed these four key themes:
Giving parents a voice
Provide strong and effective representation for the views, interests and priorities of parents and guardians - both at School Management and School Committee (Quaker Governor) levels.
Providing skills and resources
Provide funding and skills to enable the school, its teachers and pupils to realise goals and to undertake special projects that would not be possible in the same timescale or with the same impact through school resources alone. Provide some services directly to parents.
Understanding and supporting our school
Help the school to communicate effectively with current and prospective parents - to clearly show how its values, aims and Quaker ethos make Sibford School a very special place for its students and how that is reflected in the practicalities of everyday school life.
Creating community
Organise activities and events that build a sense of community amongst parents, guardians, staff, pupils and friends of the School.
